The Easyboot® Bare
Y's tip: This is a great boot for the experienced boot user. Because this boot is a little more difficult to apply, if you are brand new to boots, you may prefer to start out with the very easy-to-use Boas or Old Mac's G2. Or, for a boot very similar to the Bare's, but easier to apply, try the Epics. But if you are comfortable with applying boots, and you want a super performance boot, you can't beat the Bares! Be sure to put Comfort Pads into the bottom for healthy solar support.
The Easyboot Bare has been under development since early 2005. Although these protective horse boots are a little harder to apply than the standard Easyboot Epic, these new hoof boots provide a simple, close-fitting boot that constantly adjusts to the hoof. The Easyboot Bare is designed to stretch and flex, mimicking the movements of the naturally bare hoof. New features for 2007: Rolled edges on gaiter made of stronger, improved materials; all parts are replaceable, comes standard with low profile comfort strap without metal teeth.
Look ma, no teeth! The comfort strap is smooth on the sides, without the
metal cleats.

These EVA Foam pads provide the solar support that research has shown is necessary for healthy hoof function. Pads will help prevent peripheral loading of the hoof! They will also give horses with severe hoof conditions immediate relief. Available as one or two pair when purchased with any EasyCare boot. Standard Thickness: 12 mm (1/2 inch). Color: Black Only.
