Now offering you the world’s most affordable hoof boot – The Cavallo ELB. For those still “nervous” about making the shift to becoming ‘barefoot and booted’, and those who are already barefoot but require protection only on limited occasions, the ELB is the perfect solution. The ELB is also ideal for rehabilitation and therapeutic purposes, and it makes an excellent ‘spare tire’ for a lost shoe.
The ELB upper material is our 1680 count Denier industrial grade nylon – the same material used on our Sport style hoof boots, which have been ‘tried and tested’ in all terrains since 2008. The replaceable Velcro closure extends the working life of the ELB in the event of Velcro fatigue. Easily fastened by 8 and 80 year-olds alike, the strap does not require a screwdriver, extra physical strength or any other tools. The ELB is offered on both Cavallo’s soles – our Regular Sole, (length and width equal) and our Slim Sole ( width is ¼” or 5mm narrower than length). Both soles incorporate the unique, built in side drainage slots – which drain mud, water and sand easily and will not clog up.
The ELB Boot comes in 2 different sole shapes: Regular Sole and Slim Sole. The Regular Sole fits a hoof with a rounder shape. It is made width and length equal. The Slim Sole fits a hoof with an oval hoof shape. It is 1/4" narrower than it is long.

Please note that Simple, Sport, Trek, and ELB all use the same measuring chart. If your horse has an equal width and length, choose the REGULAR Sole. If your horse has a width measurement that is 1/4" narrower than length, choose the SLIM sole.
